600W Single Output Open Frame Power Supply.
The EIRE600 is an open frame AC/DC power supply that combines compact design with exceptional reliability and efficiency. Delivering its full 600W output with either forced-air or conduction cooling. Where fan-less operation is preferred, it can provide up to 450W using natural convection at (115 VAC) within a compact 5” x 3” footprint and a ultra-low 1.1” profile, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial and ITE applications.
The product series offers power density exceeding 36.3W/in³ with efficiency up to 96%, significantly minimising power losses and reduces the amount of heat that needs to be managed within the end system.
Four standard output voltages of 12V, 24V, 36V and 48V are available. A 5V/2A bias supply and 12V auxiliary fan output are provided, together with remote sense, AC_OK and inhibit functions for system control and monitoring. With the main output inhibited, standby power consumption is approximately 200mW, helping reduce energy use when the equipment is idle.
The EIRE600 is designed for both industrial and medical applications and provide 2 MOPP isolation, BF-rated output and support for both Class I and Class II installations. The platform operates from a universal 85–264VAC input and is designed for operation at altitudes up to 5,000 m and ambient temperatures up to +85°C with appropriate derating.
Class B conducted and radiated emissions performance further simplifies integration into medical, laboratory, diagnostic, industrial and other equipment requiring high power density in a compact package.
The EIRE600 series is also certified to the latest international Medical Safety Standards and offers a “BF” rating, making it suitable for equipment that requires direct contact with patients. This rating is crucial for applications like surgical instruments and critical care medical devices, ensuring that they can be safely used close to the patient without risk of electrical hazards
